What does Sashn mean?

Sashn holds deep personal and professional significance.  The sash is inspired by a window sash (the soul of a window or door, shaping the way light and air flow through the space) and symbolizes how Sashn opens up businesses to new opportunities, helping to find clarity and growth.    

It’s also a tribute to the legacy of my grandfather and father whose original business, Sash & Door, evolved into a cornerstone of a northern community now for over 90 years. The "N" at the end of Sashn is a nod to my last name, Scian, subtly connecting my personal identity to the work I do. 

The name captures both the strength of my family’s heritage and my vision to bring innovative HR solutions to businesses, helping them navigate the complexities of people management and to build thriving, engaged teams. It’s a blend of tradition, personal commitment, and forward-thinking HR strategies, all aimed at helping businesses unlock their true potential.
